“The Last Temptation of Christ” sees the tales of the final days of Jesus of Nazareth (Willem Dafoe), the famed carpenter who may or may not have held a special relationship with God. Jesus is plagued with guilt for making crosses for the Romans and tormented with many kinds of temptation by demon. He holds pity for the men of the world for they not know what it is they do. Everyday, Jesus is plagued with the constant call of God in his ear and sets out to discover just what the Lord Almighty wills for him. As his mission to spread the gospel nears it’s end with it’s epic climax involving his dearest friend, Judas (Harvey Keitel), Jesus must face the greatest temptation of all; the life of a normal man.
