'Frida' follows the adventuresome life of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (Salma Hayek). Frida was married to muralist Diego Rivera (Alfred Molina), who was a horrible cheater and hardly faithful to his wife. Frida was injured from a bus accident that left her spine severely damaged. They travel around the world and even to New York. There Diego is employed by the Rockefellers, but his political leanings soon cause the rich family to sever their ties. This story documents the love affair Frida had with her lovers and her art.
