“Clockers” is an inner city tale about the search for the truth. It centers around two individuals named Strike Dunham (Mekhi Phifer) and Rodney Little (Delroy Lindo). Strike is a young drug dealer from the city and Rodney is his quote unquote boss. When either one isn’t pushing drugs they simply like to sit back and relax in the benches in front of their projects neighborhood in the city. A murdered body turns up down the street at the local burger joint and Strike’s older brother, Victor (Isaiah Washington) turns himself in. However, Victor doesn’t have a record for this kind of crime and Detective Rocco Klein (Harvey Keitel) thinks he’s hiding something, perhaps protecting his younger brother.
