“Sea of Love” sees a New York Detective, Frank Keller (Al Pacino) who is an exceptional police officer with a sterling record. The only problem is he’s missing his ex-wife Denise. She left him for an old colleague, Gruber (Richard Jenkins). When a murderer strikes who leaves a record playing “Sea of Love” at the crime scene as a calling card, Frank is called in to investigate. Together, Frank and Detective Sherman (John Goodman) decide to start answering personal ads, as they believe the killer to be female and preying on lonely men from a singles column in “New York Weekly”. Just when they think they have their suspect, Helen Cruger (Ellen Barkin), Frank begins to fall for her complicating matters more.
