O is a feature film adapted form the classic William Shakespeare play, Othello. This film details the life and struggles of high school basketball phenom Odin James (Mekhi Phifer). Odin is extremely popular at his small private school, even dating the most beautiful girl who studies there, Desi (Julia Stiles). He is so good at basketball that the coach thinks of Odin almost like a father would think of his son. This greatly upsets Hugo (Josh Hartnett), who actually is the coach’s son, and is consistently outperformed by Odin in their high school team’s games. Hugo, who is jealous and hurt by Odin, concocts a plan to get revenge on and rid of Odin even if it costs him his life.
