Dickie was child actor, but now, he is in his mid- 30's and he hang’s out with other former childhood stars that have lost the glow in their star power. He works as a parking valet and his life is on the rocks. He really wants to get back into show business. He finally is able to land an audition with a big name film director, but the part would require him to act “normal”. So he hires a normal family to pretend they are his family and to help relive the childhood years and experiences he missed out on when he was a child actor. That’s when the hilarity begins.
