This is Berlin in the 1930’s, where chaos and political turmoil are rampant. An American singer/dancer, Sally Bowles (Liza Minnelli), finds herself caught in the economic unrest of the city. But while working her stuff in the downtown cabaret Kit-Kat Club, the world ceases to turn. Men from all different tracks in life are drawn to Sally and her carefree adventurous spirit. It’s as if she adds the glamour that Berlin so desperately needs. It’s not long before Sally becomes ensnared in a love triangle with a bi-sexual, Brian (Michael York), and a wealthy Casanova, Max (Helmut Griem). When Sally finds herself pregnant, their lives begin to crumble.
