A series of comedy vignettes, ranging in length from seconds to tens of minutes parodying almost every aspect of pop culture in the seventies. It roughly follows the broadcasting day of a television station, although bits like "Zinc Oxide and You," a jab at high school health films and the pseudo trailer "Catholic High School Girls in Trouble" deviate from the format. The longest bit is "A Fistful of Yen," a high octane conflagration of early Bruce Lee and Clint Eastwood. Notable among the cast are Technician #2 (David Zucker), Technician #1 (Jim Abrahams), Technician #3 (Jerry Zucker), all in "Eyewitness News." Celebrities appear in the "That's Armageddon" skit, including The Architect (George Lazenby), and the Clumsy Waiter (Donald Sutherland).
